BRINE SA Privacy Policy

BRINE SA specialises in finding contract, temporary or permanent staff for endcustomer
positions, and employing and coaching those staff throughout the project.
This requires the collection, use and maintenance of personal data of our applicants
and suppliers, and to a much lesser degree, of our staff and our customers.

This data protection / privacy policy to be clear and open about how we collect, use,
and share the personal information of our applicants and suppliers:

• How we intend to use any information that we collect
• How we share information we collect
• How we store and keep secure any information we collect
• How you can access and control your information

What information we collect and how we use it

When you ask us to find a position for you with one of our customers, you supply us
with the personal information required and give us consent to use it for that purpose:

• CV’s with your skills, education and career details etc.
• Personal details, e.g. date of birth, residence address and telephone number
• Copies of governmental documents, e.g. passports, work-permits and police
records
• Copies of educational records, e.g. diplomas and certificates
• Copies of reference letters from previous employment

We collect and store this personal information to be able to maintain contact with
you, and so that both our customer and we can assess your suitability to open
positions.

We will track communication with you (typically emails and notes of any telephone
calls and meetings) in our CRM system, to enable us to report status and process
your application effectively.

Following a successful submission of your details to a customer, and resulting in us
employing you, we will request you to supply us with:

• Family details (marital status, number and ages of any children)
• Bank account details

We collect and store this personal information to be able to calculate the correct
deductions for taxes and social insurances, hand these over to the authorities, and to
be able to make salary payments to you.

We store no information about you, which you have not yourself authorised.

Where required by law, or where we believe it is necessary to protect our legal
rights, interests and the interests of others, we may use information about you in
connection with legal claims, compliance, regulatory, and audit functions.

If you are an individual from the EU, we collect and process information about you
only where we have legal bases for doing so under applicable EU laws. This means
we collect and use your information only where:

– You have supplied us with the information and given us consent to use it
– We need to process your data to comply with a legal obligation

If you have agreed to our use of information about you for a specific purpose, you
have the right to change your mind at any time, but this will not affect any processing
that has already taken place.

How we share information we collect

To submit your application to a customer for one of their open positions, we will pass
them your CV, your governmental and educational records, your reference letters
and the personal details you supplied for this purpose. We may reformat your CV in
line with customer requirements.

For all tax and social insurance reporting and settlements with the governmental
authorities, we will supply them with your salary-related financial information.

In exceptional circumstances, we may share information about you with a third party
if we believe that sharing is reasonably necessary to (a) comply with any applicable
law, regulation, legal process or governmental request, including to meet national
security requirements, (b) enforce our agreements, policies and terms of service, (c)
protect the security or integrity of our products and services, (d) protect us, our
customers or the public from harm or illegal activities, or (e) respond to an
emergency which we believe in good faith requires us to disclose information to
assist in preventing the death or serious bodily injury of any person.

How we store and secure information that we collect

All your personal data is stored on servers within Switzerland, secured by standard
technical measures, such as firewalls.

We keep all your information until you ask us to delete it, to enable us to search for
future open positions for you more efficiently.

On request, we will delete your personal data as far as this is possible. If this is not
possible (for example, because the information has been stored in backup archives),
then we will securely store your information until deletion is possible.

If you have been employed by us, we will retain some of your information as
necessary to comply with our legal obligations, to resolve disputes, to enforce our
agreements and to support business operations.

How to access and control your information

You have the right regarding the accuracy and use of your personal data.

• You can request a copy of your information
• You can object to our use of your information
• You can request the deletion or correction of your information
• You have the right to withdraw any previous consent to use your information

Your request and choices may be limited in certain cases, e.g. if fulfilling your
request would reveal information about another person, or if you ask us to delete
information which we are permitted or required by law to keep.

Other important privacy information

We may change this privacy policy from time to time. We will post any privacy policy
changes on this page and, if the changes are significant, we will send you an email
notification.
